New CRNI report published on Improving Mattress Recycling in Ireland

Improving Mattress Recycling
End of life mattresses are a complex and bulky product which have traditionally been managed within a linear economy model.

We’re delighted to be able to to share findings from our mattress research carried out as part of CRNI’s 2021 partnership with the EPA, looking at the opportunities to improve mattress recycling.

This report builds on the efforts of the mattress working group, which was established through the National Waste Prevention Programme.

Northern Ireland's 'Circularity Gap Report' published

The report provides a snapshot on how circular Northern Ireland currently is by applying the Circle Economy circularity metric, identifying how materials flow through the Northern Ireland economy and their impacts on the circularity metric.
