🗞Circular news of the week

  • A very important new publication has been released! ‘Qualifying and Quantifying the Reuse Sector in Ireland’ gathers information on the scale and size of the reuse sector in Ireland in order to see how we can benchmark and compare our reuse sector against others. Congratulations to CRNI Members Dr Sarah Miller & Claire Downey (Rediscovery Centre) on the publication of this landmark piece of research for the Irish reuse sector. Read it in full here.
  • Last week, the OECD launched their ‘Circular Economy in Ireland’ report.  The report analyses the state of play and challenges of the circular transition in Ireland and provides policy recommendations for circular economy policy across levels of government. It is the result of a two-year policy dialogue between the OECD, the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications, as well as a broad range of public, private and civil society stakeholders. Read it in full here.
