At Cork Urban Soil Project we explore ways of turning urban food waste into soil and then growing more food, right in the middle of Cork city.
Working with the community, we aim to model new ways of addressing the city’s waste streams and to support food sovereignty.
We turn urban food waste into soil in four weeks. This new soil is used in local food growing and tree-planting initiatives. And we hope you will join in.
