The Baby Market Ireland are excited to be involved in ReUse Month 2018. This fantastic national initiative runs for the month of October with the aim of educating people about reusing products and materials that may be considered at the end of their life.
The Baby Market falls into the circular economy category which is a fancy term for keeping items in use for as long as possible by selling them on once finished with. We love the circular economy for all the obvious reasons. It saves money, puts money back in your community members pockets, provides a bit of cash for the next round of stuff and saves perfectly good items from reaching the trash heap while there’s life left in them yet.
It’s our children and theirs that will feel the effects of our currently somewhat wasteful society, and by embracing the reuse of baby items we’re saving this pretty awesome planet for our next nearest and dearest, our bundles of joy.
The Baby Market Ireland’s events are held in hotels in Cork, Limerick, Dublin, Galway, Killarney, Navan and Athlone. Check here for upcoming events.
