  • Zero Waste Europe Study Tour: Zero Waste Europe is organising its first Study Tour in 3 years – and you are invited! On 21-23 November, we will return to the birthplace of the European zero waste movement in Italy, where we will visit two of Europe’s front-running schemes for sustainable management of waste; the city of Milan and the Treviso region. In Treviso, participants will have the chance to visit and connect with representatives from the waste management company Contarina, a long-time zero waste champion in Italy. Learn more.
  • Champion Changemakers Weekend: Champion ChangemakersTM is a weekend long ‘Dragons Den’ type event which will be hosted by members of the Community Enterprise Association Ireland (CEAI) in five different locations across the country from September 23rd next. The focus of the weekend is to work with local communities in Ireland – individuals or groups – to identify, address and solve social, environmental or economic challenges which exist around them. ReMark Quality Mark

CRNI received funding from the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications through the Circular Economy Innovation Grant Scheme to carry our the next phase of the ReMark project.

Circular Textiles

CRNI is leading an EPA Green Enterprise project Circular Textiles, which will test the impact of three different separate collection systems for textiles and explore how we could manage the additional quantity of textiles that are collected. This project will be concluded in 2022.
