Join us on Thursday 14th March to learn more about the House to Home programme which Habitat Ireland is now able to deliver in Drogheda & surrounding areas.
The ‘House to Home’ programme supports vulnerable people who have been homeless or who are at risk of repeat homelessness, to sustain tenancies by providing practical support to help make their house a home. Priority is given to those who are experiencing distress and hardship, such as; homelessness, domestic violence, young people leaving care or those returning into the community.
Through Habitat ReStore, the charity’s social enterprise, Habitat also offers individuals essential household items; ensuring vulnerable people can choose what will help them feel more at home.
In 2023, Habitat delivered more than 153 interventions; helping people of all ages and backgrounds to feel safe and secure in the place they call home.
“K has had a lot of struggles with mental and emotional wellbeing and having something like this done for her has helped to strengthen and support this and hopefully help to feel able to ‘get on top of the house’ again.” – Support Worker
We are reaching out to potential partner agencies in the Drogheda area, to identify and support clients who would benefit most. We would love for you to come along to learn more about the programme and its impact for local people.
