Parent & Child: Bike Maintenance Class (morning)

Explore the exciting world of bike maintenance with our interactive workshop designed specifically for kids and an accompaning adult. This workshop is suitable for children aged 6 to 11 years old.

As young riders get on their bikes, it’s crucial to empower them with the skills to keep their bikes in tip top condition.

In this engaging session, kids will not only watch live demonstrations but also get their hands dirty with practical activities using specially provided kids’ bikes. The workshop covers a range of essential skills, ensuring that children become adept at bicycle maintenance.

Kids will learn:

Nuts and Bolts Basics: Identify and tighten essential components.

Bearings Check: Keep bearings snug for a smooth ride.

Saddle Height Adjustment: Ensure a comfortable biking experience.

Wheel Nut Tightening: Emphasize the importance of secure wheel nuts.

Wheel Size Identification: Demystify the world of bike wheels.

Tire Maintenance: Master proper tire pumping and puncture detection.

Brake Inspection: Learn to check and tighten brakes for safety.

Chain Oiling: Explore the art of chain maintenance.

Quick Bike Clean: Keep bikes sparkling with efficient cleaning methods.

*Please note that each child must be accompanied by one adult
