Spraoi agus Spórt is an award-winning social enterprise, rooted in Carndonagh, at the heart of the Inishowen Peninsula in County Donegal.

Through a responsive and community-led approach, Spraoi delivers a diverse range of inclusive programmes and services that support environmental sustainability, health, wellbeing, rural regeneration, and social cohesion.
Spraoi’s Circular Economy Hub Síoraí supports sustainability, reuse, community connection, and environmental awareness. At Síoraí, we aim to reuse and find new uses for discarded items instead of sending them straight to landfill.
The hub includes furniture upcycling, a sewing room, retail spaces, and training and events that promote circular skills and behaviours. Sustainable skills training is offered through a range of activities, including zero-waste food workshops, food growing workshops, a repair café, clothing swap events, furniture upcycling, and community planting.

Síol Arís, Irish for seed again, is a community textile upcycling initiative that transforms unwanted and preloved fabrics and clothing into beautiful handmade bags, homeware, clothing, and gifts. Materials once destined for landfill are given a new purpose, a new life, and a new story. Síol Arís also provides a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals can learn new skills, build confidence, gain experience, and contribute to something meaningful. It demonstrates that sustainability and inclusion can work hand in hand, creating benefits for both people and the planet.
A series of sustainable fashion pop-ups Shopping Spraoi, provide a vibrant hub for affordable preloved style, clothing swaps, and practical sustainability tips. Designed to make conscious shopping accessible and enjoyable, the events create a welcoming space for anyone curious about giving fashion a second life.
